Curriculum

We have a high-quality, ambitious curriculum. It is well-developed, designed, and implemented to ensure the school’s vision and values are lived. It gives pupils the knowledge and cultural capital they need to succeed in life. It is a knowledge-rich curriculum and is based on well-founded research evidence of what works well.

Across the Collaboration, we deliver a rich, broad, and balanced curriculum. We have clear plans and curriculum Schemes of Work for all subjects. They are well-sequenced and progress towards clear endpoints, whilst enabling key concepts to be repeated and strengthened to build long-term memory.

Our curriculum is fully inclusive and is designed to meet the needs of all pupils. We are ambitious for all pupils – no ceiling is placed on any child’s academic potential.

Learning at East Harptree and Ubley is memorable, long-lasting, and meaningful for all the children. As our pupils move through school, they know more, remember more, and can do more. We provide additional curriculum workshops, visitors, and events to enhance learning, and inspire and motivate the children.

To the right are sections providing information about the individual subjects we teach in our curriculum including the Early Years Curriculum, and Religious Education.
